WEEK 5 - NEWS & GROUPS

Well boys we are at mid point so it's time to bring the A GAME! The Tee Adjustments are running wild this week due to how the yardages shake out - so according to our rules we must play the GREEN/WHITE boxes so those are a challenge all in themselves - add our other rules into the mix and we also have some red tees sneaking onto the scene. Please appoint someone in each group to enforce the tees box changes at each hole.

Also unfortunately I have been informed that Kris Wellmer will not be able to play this season so Mark Mulder will be taking his spot. He has 3 outings in already so his handicap (+20) has been calculated and the standings have been adjusted to reflect this. Welcome Mark! Kris will also miss the trip north which opened the spot for newcomer Nick Vitt!

This week are going to mix things up a little with......

THE EGI Two-Man Throwdown

This week we'll be competing in the Two-Man Throwdown. Each team's combined score including handicaps will determine the winners.

The two players on the team with the highest combined point total will each earn a prize from the prize pool. The player with the higher individual score (w/handicap) on the winning team will receive first choice from the prize pool.

Teams were formed based on the current season standings to keep things competitive. The pairings are:

• 1st place with 24th place

• 2nd place with 23rd place

• 3rd place with 22nd place

• And so on throughout the field.

In each foursome, the two blue players are partners and the two red players are partners for the contest.
