WEEK 2 RECAP

Jimmy Mac came out hotter than a cart girl on a 95° day, dropping a league-best 36 TOTAL points (19 actual) and casually dunking an EAGLE from 150+ yards out like it was no big deal. Witnesses say the ball disappeared faster than Dan Keelan when the lunch bill showed up - no in all acutality they didn't even know the ball went in the hole until Pie happen to look in the hole after they couldn't find the ball anywhere! Needless to say Mac got a skin on that hole!

Speaking of Keelan… the man was everywhere Sunday. He snagged the “FINAL PIN” Closest-to-the-Pin prize, another CTP on #12, AND bagged himself 2 skins. Strong performance all around… but apparently not strong enough financially to buy the boys lunch afterward. Tightwad handicap remains unchanged.

Clauson absolutely unloaded on the Long Drive Hole with a 270+ yard missile right down the fairway and added a skin for good measure. Now, to be fair, Poma and Mojica actually hit it farther… but BOTH managed to miss the fairway by just enough to turn “great drive” into “but it was a long drive.”

Mojica continues to quietly climb the standings and look more dangerous every week. He also earned a skin. Meanwhile Pie continues his lifelong quest to protect his “ladies tees” privileges as his handicap slowly evaporates before our eyes. Thoughts and prayers.

Now… we must address the elephant in the room: Tee Box Gate 2026.

2nd Hole, Roland decided to text the ENTIRE LEAGUE informing everyone of the changes due to his Bushnell Rangefinder (which of course everyone knows is a NO NO) RIGHT?..... Small problem… Roland didn’t actually know the league rules. In his defense, he owned the mistake immediately like a man. Unfortunately, he’s still a dickhead for causing mass confusion on Hole #2. 😂

ALL JOKING ASIDE — it actually turned into a good learning moment for everyone, and thankfully there are NO tee adjustments for Pheasant Run, so we can all go back to arguing about gimmes and Pie hitting from the ladies tees.
